If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!!
A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in and
looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, t hen I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes." The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.

Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Her e I am God. I'm still waiting." It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got o ut of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him, knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, lo oked at the Marine and asked, "What the heck is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"
The Marine calmly replied, "God was too busy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So, He sent me."

    Do you always feel like your life is at best just a little bit out of control, and more normally completely out of control? Just about the time you think you have everything under control, someone or something comes along and throws your life back into complete chaos?That seems to be the way most of my life has been until I decided the only thing to do was just give it up! Give up Control!Paul said in Romans 7:15,
"For that which I am doing, I do not understand' for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate."
    He sounds like most people I know including myself. We want very much to do what is right, but keep on doing the wrong thing. We want very much to get control of our lives and make it work, but we keep on messing things up! A vicious circle. Paul was out of control! He couldn't get control of things long enough to do the good that he wanted to do.
    Man has two very conflicting natures. The nature of the flesh, and a spiritual nature. When two things are in direct conflict with each other, you have to choose one over the other. If you choose to give the flesh control, you'll always be fighting to hang on to it. You've probably already figured that out.
    If you try to hang on to both natures, you will deal constantly with the turmoil caused when the flesh demands to do what is wrong, when your spiritual nature wants to do what is right.You can't be controlled by two conflicting spirits, that of the flesh and that of the spirit. Ever have two different bosses telling you two different things to do? The result, mass confusion, aggravation and normally no production.
    There's one more choice here. Give complete control to the spiritual nature within you. Give it to Jesus! Let Jesus take control of every aspect in your life.So if you feel your life is out of control, just give it up! Give control over to Jesus, and I do mean complete control. Don't give him control over just the messes in your life and then say, Ok Jesus, I'll take it from here.. That puts you back in the second catagory, where you continue to try and give a little control to each of your conflicting spirits.Give it to Jesus, lay it down and let it go!
